Primary Hyperhidrosis
Primary hyperhidrosis has no known medical cause. In patients with primary hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating occurs independently of any additional medical conditions they may have.
Secondary Hyperhidrosis

Does BOTOX Treatment for Hyperhidrosis Have Any Side Effects?
Side effects are rare when receiving BOTOX to treat hyperhidrosis. However, our practice values transparency about the procedures we offer. Double-blind studies found that 3–10% of adult patients reported the following side effects after BOTOX injections:
