What Is PicoSure and How Does It Work?
While traditional lasers rely primarily on heat to break down pigment or ink, PicoSure uses patented PressureWave technology to deliver ultra-short pulses of energy to the skin to shatter targets into smaller particles. The result is more effective clearance with less thermal impact on the skin, which translates to faster healing and less downtime compared to older laser approaches.
Sessions typically run around 30 minutes, and because the energy is so focused, the skin can recover and respond without prolonged recovery periods.

Not all tattoo removal lasers are equal. PicoSure treats the widest range of ink colors available. Our system uses a 755 nm wavelength to break down black, blue, and green ink effectively. The 532 nm wavelength extends that capability to red, orange, and yellow.
