Tracy- RN, Administrator
Tracy, RN, Administrator, James E. Murphy, M.D.’s wife, Tracy started injecting for the office in 2005. She has been a registered nurse since 1986. She performs all of the injectable facial aesthetics such as neurotoxins and facial fillers, and is trained on all devices and lasers in the office. Tracy likes to be involved with community events, donates to a variety of fundraisers, and loves animals. Dr. Murphy and Tracy are native Nevadan's and have two sons.
Melissa- Office Manager
Melissa is our Office Administrator at Murphy Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa. In 2021, she graduated with her MBA in Healthcare Management beginning her journey with Murphy Plastic Surgery in 2022. Before that, she spent 20 years as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working in various settings within healthcare. Melissa has expertise in patient care, medical office coordination, and business operations. Murphy Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa will continue its commitment to excellence with Melissa’s help.
Tatum- Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Tatum has been a licensed Medical Aesthetician for 5 years. She preforms all of our advanced skin care treatments and laser services including tattoo removal and skin resurfacing. Tatum is extremely knowledgeable in treating sun damage, skin laxity, acne and a variety of other skin concerns. She highly values continuing education and pushing her skills and knowledge to better her patient outcomes and results. She was born and raised in Reno, NV and enjoys staying active and healthy!
Corrine King- Licensed Cosmetologist/Mater Lash Tech
Corrine joined our team at Murphy Plastic Surgery to extend her range of skills into the medical aesthetics world. Corrine is a Licensed Cosmetologist for 10 years, and a Master Eyelash Technician for 7 years. Her passion for beauty started as a professional make-up artist, 13 years ago, making women and brides feel beautiful. The most recent addition to her menu of services is Cosmetic Tattooing of the lips, eyeliner and brows. Corrine was born and raised in Carson City, NV.
Meghan- Patient Care Coordinator
Meghan is our patient care coordinator. She has been with us since 2005. Meghan is very professional with our patients. She prides herself on her personal relationships with each patient, and directing them from start to finish through each individual procedure. From the first appointment through the surgery process, Meghan is very knowledgeable about James E. Murphy, M.D.’s routine, pre and post-op care, and the actual surgery procedures.
Berta- Medical Assistant
Berta is one of our caring Certified Medical Assistants. You will see her assisting with care, organization, and procedures in the back office. Berta has held a Certification in Medical Assisting since 2019 from Milan Institute. She has been a great addition to Murphy Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa since 2022. Her knowledge base continues to grow allowing the Practice to stay committed to excellence.
