- Hydrogen peroxide triggers the skin’s stress response system (inflammation) and fibroblast activity. It also controls the trichloroacetic acid (TCA) so it reaches the dermis without harming the surface of the skin.

FAQ About PRX Skin Treatments
Is PRX a chemical peel?
No. While PRX uses TCA, which is commonly found in chemical peel treatments, PRX is not a chemical peel. It will not cause layers of your skin to peel, so you can return to your day without worrying about side effects.
When will I see results?
While you may notice an immediate glow after each treatment, it can take four to six sessions over several months to see long-lasting results in dullness, hydration, pore size, crepey skin, stretch marks, acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Can PRX be combined with other treatments?
Absolutely! While PRX treatments work great on their own, they can also be combined with other noninvasive med spa services for more comprehensive results.
