How Does It Work?
Comfort
A topical anesthetic or numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort. Patients may feel a slight stinging sensation from the needles, but the discomfort is very minor. We offer self-administered nitrous oxide to provide an extra layer of reassurance for patients with sensitive skin, or those who are nervous about treatment.
Treatment
Once the patient is numb, the microneedles are gently pressed against the skin. The tiny needles penetrate the tissue while delivering radiofrequency energy to the treatment area. This triggers the body's natural repair process and stimulates the body to produce new collagen and elastin, eventually resulting in powerful rejuvenation.
Effects
Collagen and elastin building happen within four to six weeks of treatment. Around 12 weeks, the full effects of Potenza treatment become apparent. We generally recommend three sessions for best results, but this varies by case. We'll recommend a treatment timeline during your initial consultation at our Reno office.
