Your total price includes a wide range of services. Some are preparatory, like X-rays, while others have to do with the surgery itself, like the price of your anesthesia and surgical venue. For your convenience, it also includes the cost of the compression garments you'll wear while healing and the medicines to take after surgery.
Insurance Coverage
Though rare, it's possible that your insurance may help with the cost of removal. To be eligible, you will need medical testing and X-rays as evidence of health problems. Conditions that make you eligible for coverage range from nerve damage to infection.
