"Liquid face-lift" by Dr. Murphy. This patient has deflation of volume and a starting descent of the tissues, all due to the aging process. As we age, our bone structure starts to dissolve, and our muscles and fat pads in the face start heading south. The liquid face-lift with facial fillers and BOTOX® is a great option versus a surgical option. This patient received approximately 12 syringes of JUVÉDERM® Ultra, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus and JUVÉDERM VOLUMA®. Starting from the upper face down, patients temporal hollows were treated, under the eyebrow fat pad for lift, zygomatic (cheek) bone bringing up the cheek apple, tear trough area under the eyes, malar or midcheek area, marionette area, upper and lower lips, and prejowl sulcus (the jowl area along the jaw bone). BOTOX® was injected to forehead, upper lip, and the DAO muscle that turns the mouth corners (frown) downward.
This patient had facial filler with Restylane® to the tear trough area underneath the eyes. This restores volume, decreases fine lines, and minimizes dark shadows.
