Dr. Murphy was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. For over nineteen years, Dr. Murphy has been providing his patients with surgical excellence in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Murphy currently has one of the busiest and most respected cosmetic and reconstructive practices in Northern Nevada. After graduating from Reno High School, Dr. Murphy chose University of Nevada Reno for his undergraduate education and continued into the University School of Medicine. He served as a US Naval Reservist and spent two years as a medical corpsman during Desert Storm. He completed five years of General Surgery Residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He went on to complete two years of Plastic Surgery Residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine/Bowman Gray in North Carolina. Dr. Murphy studied under Dr. Louis Argenta, a specialist in craniofacial deformity microsurgery. Following his extensive training Dr. Murphy returned to Reno to build a thriving Plastic Surgery Practice as well as starting a family of his own. Dr. Murphy strives to give back to the community he was raised in by giving his time, training and expertise to the Cleft Palate Clinic at UNR, where he is an Associate Professor, and repairing the cranial facial abnormalities of the babies in and around our area. Dr. Murphy’s easy-going bedside manner allows his patients to feel at ease enough to relay their desires and ask any questions about the procedures. Dr. Murphy takes the time to listen to his patients, discuss their concerns and options, and alleviate any fears about cosmetic surgery. Dr. Murphy definitely takes the time needed in surgery, to achieve the best results possible for his patients.

Dr. Murphy specializes in breast surgery, providing superior results in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. He performs more breast augmentations than any other surgery, and twice the national average of breast surgeries, according to the ASPS. Dr. Murphy also maintains an active reconstructive practice. He performs the majority of cleft lip and palate surgeries in Northern Nevada and is an expert in facial reconstruction for patients injured in accidents.

Tracy Murphy, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector - Dr. Murphy’s wife. Tracy starting injecting for the office in 2005. She does all facial aesthetics, such as Botox, and facial fillers like Juvederm and Voluma. Tracy also is trained on all of our lasers, and can perform all laser treatments, micro-needling and Cool Lift. She strives to bring new treatments and modalities to the office to give the best possible options and results for our patients. Tracy likes to be involved with community events, and donates to a variety of fundraisers, including our favorite animal rescue missions.

Noelle Davis-Marinacchio, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector - Noelle is a Registered Nurse and Aesthetic Nurse Injector. Noelle received her BSN in 2010, and has been injecting Botox and facial fillers since 2011. Noelle has a very good eye, and soft touch. She lives here in Reno with her husband and 3 children.

Audrey Tiearney, Office Manager - Audrey is our accounting and office manager. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in accounting in 2006 from California. She was born and raised in Reno. Audrey has been with Murphy Plastic Surgery for over 10 years. Audrey understands all aspects of this office, from phones, to charts, to billing, to credentialing our doctor. She is our go to person with almost every daily situation. She prides herself on being a team leader that helps and encourages employees to develop their strengths and the importance of being a team.

Meghan Kenney, Cosmetic Counselor and Scheduler - Meghan is our patient care coordinator and cosmetic counselor. She has enjoyed working for Murphy Plastic Surgery for over 12 years, since 2005. Meghan has over 18 year of experience in the cosmetic surgery field. Helping patients feel comfortable and confident regarding their surgical decisions is her ultimate goal. From the first appointment through the surgery process, Meghan is very knowledgeable about Dr. Murphy’s routine, pre and post op care, and the actual surgery procedures.

Cristina Pacheco, Medical Assistant - Cristina is our back medical assistant, and has been with Murphy Plastic Surgery for 6 years now. She completed her externship for Milan Institute with us, and we gladly brought her on as a part of our team. Cristina is bilingual, so a great asset to our Hispanic population. She assists Dr. Murphy with all office procedures and surgeries, and takes care of patient post care.

Jeri Miles, Cosmetic Aesthetician - Jeri has been an aesthetician for over 16 years. She brings her expertise and skills to Murphy Plastic Surgery. She does all treatments from waxing, facials, microdermabrasion and micro needling. Jeri is certified in the most advanced lasers for laser facials and tattoo removal with our new PicoSure Laser, IPL, and Hair Removal. Jeri can assist you picking out your color palette with Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup, and choosing the best skin care products for you, with Skin Medica or Eminence. In her free time, Jeri enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda Dominguez, Medical Assistant - Linda Dominguez is our front office medical assistant and receptionist. She is the pretty girl who will greet you upon arrival at our office. She’s bilingual, which is a big asset for our office. Linda assists Dr. Murphy with any medical or surgical procedures. Linda values being a part of faith-filled family environment.

Aimee Lopes, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector - Aimee is a licensed Registered Nurse of 2 years and a licensed cosmetologist of 12 years. Born and raised in Reno, Amy has lived abroad and traveled all over Europe. She has also been a beauty editor for Clever! Magazine. Aimee is now a nurse injector for Murphy Plastic Surgery, and loves helping people feel good about themselves, and look their best.
