I turned 45 and took a long look in the mirror. Over the past 5 years weight had crept on and at 5’3″ tall, I weighed 185 pounds. I vowed to get fit. In the next 6 months I went to the gym 4-5 times a week and spent 45-60 minutes doing cardio on the elliptical machine. My endurance got better but the weight just didn’t come off. A friend told me about Dr. Murphy and the HCG diet. She talked about a pound a day coming off…too good to be true?
I made my appointment with Dr. Murphy for evaluation and started the diet right after the new year, 2010. The diet is very strict and I worried I would be weak and hungry. In the first week I lost 10 pounds! Great motivation to keep going. The second week I lost 5 pounds, the weight just seemed to melt off, and the weight was fat weight not muscle as I had feared as the % body fat kept going down and down. I was not hungry or weak: it was amazing I felt great. In that first 20 days I lost 15 lbs. When I started eating more normally, but continued to eat healthy the weight did not come back on. It was like my metabolism had been reset. I started an exercise program including lifting weights and 30minutes of cardio, 3 days a week and my body began to reshape.
I have continued my exercise program and been on the HCG diet for a total of 3-23 day cycles. Each time on the diet program droppihng fat weight. At 46 years old I feel and look great as I have lost a total of 45 pounds and 15% of body fat with Dr. Murphy, and his supportive staff and the HCG diet.

I started out on the 23 day program to hopefully lose some belly fat. Days 1-4 were the hardest, as 500 calories is a big change. I was very strict during the first 23 days. I did have days where I had a glass of wine, or a bite of kids dinner. But it was OK.
I walked 3 to 4 times a week and did switch to all organic foods. I kept a daily journal of weight gains/losses. Drank lots of h2O and organic herbal teas. Snack time was easy, as an organic apple a day or grapefruit was very good. I had either fresh fish or organic chicken for dinner and a hand full of veggies. My weight at the start was 156. I am now 132 and holding. I have lost inches all over. My body fat is 7% lower and I feel great.
During the HCG program I did have more energy and wasn’t as hungry. My appetite has picked up a little. But my eating now healthier. I would recommend the HCG diet. Take before and after photos. Have your body fat tested. It has been a lifestyle change for me. I’m very happy with the results.

How I lost 30 pounds
As testament to your HCG weight loss program, I can whole heartedly endorse the program you offer. I’m currently in the middle of my third round of the twenty three day program and I’m experiencing fantastic results for the third time!
During my last participation, I was also involved in a strenuous exercise regime but only participated in ten of the exercise classes offered – at the end of the 30 day exercise program, I actually won second place of all participants for fat loss and weight loss combined! During my HCG weight loss periods, I find that I feel fantastic, have more energy and I am far more even tempered than normal.
Since I began the HCG program, I’ve managed to come within five pounds of my original weight loss goal. Overall I’ve lost over thirty pounds and the weight seems to stay off. I’ve tried numerous other diets and none come close to achieving the results that the HCG diet does. This is absolutely the program for me!!!
